And at the heart of this revolution? AWS<\/strong> (Amazon Web Services) cloud services<\/strong>, which today make it possible to create large-scale industrial digital twins<\/strong>, connected to real-time field data. <\/p>\n\n

A digital twin<\/strong> is a virtual replica of a physical asset, powered by IoT sensors and other data sources. It can combine real-time, historical or simulated data to model past, present or future behavior. <\/p>\n\n

What’s more, it enables you to simulate, visualize, monitor and optimize the condition of a piece of equipment, a process or even an entire industrial site. In concrete terms, we’re talking about digital twins of industrial equipment<\/strong>, production lines<\/strong> or evenlogistics environments<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

The fundamental role of the IoT<\/h3>\n\n

The IoT plays a central role in powering the digital twin in real time, although it can also draw on other industrial data sources. <\/p>\n\n

These are connected sensors<\/strong>, positioned on equipment or in infrastructures, which :<\/p>\n\n

  1. Capture field data in real time (temperature, vibration, position, operating status, etc.),<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Transmit them to the cloud,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
