ELA Innovation becomes Geotab Marketplace’s “Order Now” partner to accelerate Small Asset Tracking with BLE technology

Today, at Geotab Connect 2026 in Las Vegas, we are proud to announce thatELA Innovation has officially become an “Order Now” partner of Geotab Marketplace, marking an important milestone in our collaboration with Geotab.

This “Order Now” status, currently active in Europe and the UK, enables Geotab customers to purchase ELA Innovation Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) beacons and sensors directly from the Geotab Marketplace, while benefiting from our technical support and BLE expertise. This collaboration is set to be extended to the USA and Canada in the coming months.

The transportation sector, and more specifically providers of in-vehicle telematics services, was one of the first to recognize the value of BLE technology. By integrating BLE into their hardware ecosystems, telematics players have enabled real-time data collection, enabling smarter, more efficient solutions to operational and economic challenges.

Optimize Small Asset Tracking with our BLE expertise

For over 25 years, we have been designing and manufacturing high-performance BLE beacons and sensors, renowned for their robustness, long life, compact design, certifications and reliability. BLE technology is one of the most widely adopted wireless standards in the world. Its interoperability and scalability make it a key element in the mass deployment of asset tracking and sensor solutions, particularly in the transport and telematics sectors.

At Connect 2026, Geotab will officially launch its new “Small Asset Tracking” offering, highlighting the ELA Innovation devices designed for this solution : Blue PUCK ID, Blue COIN ID and Blue LITE ID. Powered by millions of Geotab GO devices deployed worldwide, this solution enables customers to easily create, pair, locate and track their assets directly in MyGeotab.

From asset visibility to cold chain monitoring

Beyond location, our collaborative roadmap integrates BLE sensor data, starting with temperature monitoring. By combining Geotab’s Small Asset Tracking capabilities with ELA Innovation’s BLE temperature sensors, customers can monitor both the location and critical conditions of their equipment.

Let’s take the example of an isothermal box. This box, fitted with an ELA Innovation BLE beacon, would be identified, located and tracked using the new Small Asset Tracking functionalities. Now imagine that the BLE tag is replaced by ELA Innovation’s BLE temperature sensor. Not only is the box located and tracked, but the temperature inside is also monitored.

These capabilities will further enhance Geotab’s Cold Chain solution, enabling customers to directly monitor temperatures inside transported containers, crates or boxes, in addition to or in place of data from refrigeration units, thus meeting growing regulatory and operational requirements.
