Personal data processed
Within the framework of activities related to the use of the www.elainnovation.com website (in particular if you fill in a form requesting information or drawing up a quote) ELA INNOVATION collects and processes the following personal data
- Identification data (e.g. last name, first name, e-mail address, postal address, telephone number)
- Connection data (e.g. IP address, connection logs)
If your personal data is collected through a form, you will be informed of the mandatory nature of the information by an asterisk (*) next to the fields concerned. If there is no asterisk, the information requested is not mandatory.
Only the personal data strictly necessary for the purposes described below are collected.
The legal bases of the processing
Your personal data is collected and processed on the following legal grounds
- In the context of the performance of a contract;
- For legitimate interest purposes;
- On the basis of your consent;
- In order to ensure compliance with our legal and regulatory obligations.
The purposes of the processing
Your personal data are processed for the following purposes:
- To manage our commercial relationship: Issuance of quotations, orders, invoices, reminders, information, answers to your requests for technical or commercial support, or specific technical services.
- To carry out information and commercial prospecting campaigns
- To improve and optimize the quality of our products and their functioning, to develop services adapted to the request of the customers
- To carry out satisfaction surveys on the solutions and services offered
How long we keep your personal data
Your personal data is kept only for the time strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and for a maximum of 60 months after the termination of any relationship with a customer.
Commercial relationship management
If you are an ELA INNOVATION client, your personal data is kept for a period of 5 years from the end of any relationship with the client.
If you are not an ELA INNOVATION client (prospect) and have not asked us to send you information (e.g. newsletter), the personal data that you may have entrusted to us is kept for a period of 24 months from the last time you showed an interest in ELA INNOVATION products, in particular by exchanging e-mails, requesting information or a quote.
At the end of these 5-year and 24-month periods, the data is deleted.
The client has the possibility of unsubscribing at any time by clicking on the link available on the information and communication emails that you may receive.
The recipients of your personal data
As mentioned above, your data is used by ELA INNOVATION in accordance with the purposes listed above. In the event that we use subcontractors for technical purposes, their access will be strictly controlled by ELA INNOVATION. They would not be able to use the data for any purpose other than the execution of their service.
Under no circumstances will the data collected be loaned, rented or sold, nor will it be communicated to third parties unless expressly provided for in the present document.
The data is stored on servers located in France or on the territory of the European Union.
The rights concerning your personal data
The Customer who holds personal data has the following rights:
The right of access:
This right allows access to the data collected and to request a copy of all information concerning the customer. This right applies regardless of the legal basis for the processing of your data.
The right of rectification:
The right of rectification serves to update your personal data. This right applies regardless of the legal basis of the processing concerning you.
The right of opposition:
This is the right to refuse the collection and processing of data or to object to it after having initially authorized it.
ELA INNOVATION must comply with these requests as indicated below.
Right to erasure (right to be forgotten):
ELA INNOVATION’s purpose is to retain client data to the extent necessary in the context of its activity and its client relationship.
All data concerning a client or prospect is therefore automatically deleted at the end of the retention period.
When your data is subject to processing based on your consent or on ELA INNOVATION’s legitimate interest, you may obtain the early deletion of your data by notifying ELA INNOVATION at the address given at the top of this document.
Right to portability:
This right allows the client or prospect to request to obtain the data concerning him/her, if the processing is based on his/her consent or a contractual relationship. ELA INNOVATION is then obliged to transmit the data in a structured format (database) to another entity than ELA INNOVATION.

Safety measures
As the data controller, we take all necessary measures to preserve the security and confidentiality of the data and in particular to prevent them from being damaged or accessed by unauthorized third parties. To this end, we implement all technical and organizational measures to guarantee an adequate level of security adapted to the risks. In addition, we ensure that our subcontractors comply with the rules on the protection of personal data.
Personal data of the website
Access to the www.elainnovation.com website and navigation on the site do not require you to communicate your personal data.
However, in order to access certain services offered by our site, you may be required to communicate data such as: your name, your position, the name of your company, your e-mail address, your sector of activity or your telephone number. This is the case when you fill in our various contact forms or if you wish to access the quote function.
In all cases, you can refuse to provide your personal data. In this case, you will not be able to use the services of the site, in particular that of requesting information on our company, or to receive the newsletters.
This contact information remains strictly confidential, and is in no way transferred or made available to third parties.
The customer or prospect has a right of access, rectification and deletion of data concerning him as indicated above.
He may expressly object to the processing of his personal data.
In all cases, he/she simply needs to write a letter to ELA INNOVATION at its postal or e-mail address.
He/she shall indicate his/her surname, first name and postal address. The request must be signed and accompanied by a valid piece of identification bearing his signature. The User may specify the address to which the reply should be sent.
ELA INNOVATION has a period of one month from receipt of the request to respond. At the end of this period, the Client may refer the matter to the CNIL in the event of a negative response or no response from the Company.
About cookies
Definition of a cookie
A cookie is a small text file that is placed or stored on your terminal (computer, tablet or mobile device) when you visit a website. The cookie allows a site to recognize you, to help you navigate from page to page on a website, provides secure connections.
The Company may use cookies to recognize the user (customer or not) when he/she connects to the Site. They are in all cases anonymized and do not collect or retain any personal data.
Use of cookies
ELA INNOVATION uses anonymous cookies only for statistical purposes, which are processed by Google Analytics.
Deletion of cookies
The user may at any time deactivate the cookies stored on his terminal. To do so, he/she simply needs to use the button provided for this purpose or to select the appropriate settings in his/her browser and consult the help menu of your browser.
However, this deactivation may result in preventing access to certain features of the Site that allow the personalization of the services offered by the Company.
Social network plugins
The Site uses social network plugins such as Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Youtube (hereinafter “Social Networks”). For example, if the user is connected to Facebook while browsing the Site, Facebook will be able to directly link their visit to their Facebook user account even if the user did not use the share button.
If the user interacts with the plugins, for example by clicking the “Like” button or leaving a comment, the corresponding information will be transmitted to and stored on a Facebook server. This information will be published on the user’s Facebook account.
The Company does not manage the data collected by the Social Networks via the buttons. The User should read the policy on the protection of personal data published by the Social Networks concerned in order to know the methods of processing and use of the data collected by the latter as well as the possibilities of settings available to protect his/her privacy.
If the user does not wish the Social Network to link the information collected through the Company to his Social Network user account, he must disconnect from the Social Network before consulting the Site.
