The active RFID tags are worn by each patient. The latest version of the dual radio frequency DOT solution provides optimum functionality and 50cm accuracy. The industrial and robust design enables real time detection of tags in non-authorised zones. For example, when a patient moves to a restricted door it simply doesn’t open. Additionally if a door has been accidently left open, a vocal alarm can be generated providing the name of the patient and the door number. In this example, a siren and flashing light are activated.
