The « hands-free » access control works thanks to a long-range RFID entry pass system placed inside each vehicle. The reader placed on the barrier allows to instantly detect the pass presence and triggers the opening. To be known that reading devices can discreetly fit inside the barrier thanks to its compacity.
The pass recognition is done in less than 1 second and the reading distance can be set from 1 to 30 meters thanks to a software. This functionality allows to define a virtual area which is the size of a vehicle.
The RFID reader Wiegand and DataClock protocol compatibility allows for a direct connection on remote access control devices.
